Hospital Continuing Education

Silver Lake Rescue is under the medical control of St. Catherines Hospital.  SLRS along with on-site medical training must also complete monthy on-line trainings. Below is a link to Aurora’s CE site which has a wealth of information. Aurora CE Training Packets

Silver Lake Rescue Monthly Training

Training is essential in keeping our skills sharp. EMS is one field that is constantly changing and it’s vital that we continue to train in the latest techniques and procedures as they become available to us. SLRS has training on the 3rd Thursday of the month. 

HIPAA

From time to time we get requests for patient information or run reports.  These types of requests are handled through our billing company.  Patient privacy is of the utmost importance to us and we will not give out any requests for patient information without all the legal documented release forms.
